Grenzenlos: Neufundland

genre: travel documentary

length: 41’
We came for the icebergs and the whales. We stayed for the people.

This travel documentary took us to eastern Newfoundland, a place shaped by wind, water and the art of reinvention. When cod fishing collapsed in the ’90s, entire communities had to rewrite their future.

What we found were stories told in gestures, landscapes that felt like metaphors, and a rhythm of life that’s somehow both slow and full of urgency.

Shot in freezing winds, on fishing boats, in church basements and open kitchens – this is what we love: real places, real people, unscripted emotion.
The kind of filmmaking that sharpens your instincts, your timing, your empathy.
And makes you better at telling any story. Even the branded ones.
